November 2009: Thank God for Socialism. I'm still on Maui, just stopped living in my truck and got accepted into a HUD subsidized apartment after waiting four years. I've got big problems with Obama's take on Wall Street and War, but there's no question his budget is helping out poor people better than any time since Jimmy Carter in 1980. We put up with almost thirty fucking years of conservative governance that benefited the rich. I don't know how we survived it.
